Overnight Development Camps 2025

Overview

Our Overnight Development Camps are designed for young, experienced riders eager to sharpen their skills and deepen their understanding of the sport. Whether you're focused on cross-country (XC), Enduro, or park riding, these camps provide a blend of advanced training and classic camp fun. 


Participants will dive into concepts like sport physiology, nutrition, and psychology, all while enjoying activities like swimming, hiking, and making new friends. With certified staff and top-notch facilities, these camps offer a supportive environment to grow as an athlete and adventurer.

Burke Camp

The Burke Overnight Development Camp is designed for experienced riders and campers who have participated in our Day Camps, competitions, or other organized programs and are eager to elevate their riding skills. This camp focuses on exploring concepts in sport physiology, nutrition, and psychology while engaging in riding, playing, and having fun. Our primary goal is to safely enhance athletes' skills while expanding their understanding of how their body and mind work together.


Camp Highlights:

  • Emphasis on XC with Enduro components
  • Traditional camp experiences including swimming, hiking, soccer, and making new friends
  • A special camp-out night, a camper favorite
  • All staff are Safe Sport and American Red Cross certified

Logistics:

  • Location: East Burke, Vermont at Burke Mtn Academy
  • Lodging and Meals: Provided on the Burke campus
  • Arrival: Sunday 2-4 PM
  • Departure: Friday 12:00 PM
  • Ages: 11-16

Sugarloaf Camp

The Sugarloaf Overnight Development Camp is crafted for experienced riders ready to take their skills to the next level, with an orientation towards Enduro riding. Participants will explore sport physiology, nutrition, and psychology concepts amidst riding and fun activities. This camp concludes  with daily sessions in Sugarloaf's new lift serviced park.


Camp Highlights:

  • XC, Park, and Enduro riding
  • Traditional camp activities: swimming, hiking, soccer, and making new friends
  • 3X3 sessions in the new lift serviced park , This will be our park and playground for 3 hours each for 3 sessions. 
  • All staff are Safe Sport and American Red Cross certified

Sample Daily Schedule Burke/Sugarloaf

8:00: Breakfast 

9:00 - 11:00: Skills/drills, pump tracks, fitness, equipment, big rides.

11:00 - 2:00: Lunch, bike tuning, sports psych, exercise physiology

2:00 - 6:00: Group rides, skill development, sessioning, and progressions. Swimming, team sports  

6:30: Dinner 

7:30: Team games, sports psych movies, local riding

9:30: In rooms

10:00: Lights out

RATES

Dates: August 10-15 Program fee $1850 ($1999 after 5/1 Burke) and ($1999 after 6/1 Sugarloaf)
