At Kingdom Camps, we are passionate about mountain biking and want to share that passion with others. Our coaches mission is to provide a fun, safe learning environment for kids that foster a life long love for the sport.
Kraig Sourbeer is PMBI (Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association) Certified. As a former US Ski Team Member, a veteran coach of elite-level athletes, and an accomplished bike racer, he is committed to providing safe and creative environments for kids to grow and develop bike skills while gaining self-awareness and confidence.
Kraig has several NORBA National victories – he was the 2011 Circumburke Challenge Champion and the 2012 Burke Mtn Men's 40+ Class Enduro Champion. One of Kraig's most proud and challenging mountain bike accomplishments came during his 10th-place finish in the 2007 Jay Challenge, a 72-mile mountain bike race that required 7 hours and 45 minutes on the bike!
Kraig first started Kingdom Mtb Camp in 2011 and the camp has grown ever since. Last summer 283 young athletes participated in our programs. In 2022, he created a unique counselor program to help give local kids an opportunity to learn and gain work experience with kids. We now have 20 counselors participating in the program. He plans to continue growing and getting more kids on bikes and young adults learning how to communicate and become good coaches.
We will be announcing our key coaches and more information on our counselors in the spring. If you would like to understand how your child can become a Counselor please email Kraig@kingdomcamps.com
